Christmas Swap

My partner in the Christmas swap was Kathy.  First up the goodies portion.  She sent me Christmas spiced tea, chocolates and cupcake liners.  I can't wait to bake some cupcakes!

These are both brooch pins.  That wee Santa is made from a cinnamon stick.
Sorry this is sideways.   When I opened the package it smelled so delicious, and then i found out why.  Cinnamony spicey candles.  The tags say ho ho ho and are made of wood with a cute jingle bell.  And yum, a wooden box full of candy.

Ribbon and scrapbook paper for some holiday crafting?  yes, please
I saved my favorite for last. The cutest ever vintage elf ornament.  It still has a 10 cent sticker on the bottom.
Thank you so much Kathy for being my partner.  I love everything and can't wait to use it all. Merry Christmas!!

Vintage Dragonfly's Halloween Swap

I was in a Halloween swap with Michele. Here are some photos of the things she sent.
The photos are not the clearest because the sun is MIA.
A pretty beaded necklace is attached to a vintage Halloween card.
This gorgeous banner was made from embellished vintage images.
A cute treat bag was filled with candy treats.
Super cute goblin teeth potion bottle.  Now I can finally start on a witch's cabinet.

Here are the crafting bits and bobs, always my favorite part of swaps.

Sharknado Party

W
We had a SHARKNADO party.  While watching SHARKNADO!
Here is a closeupish shot of the SHARKNADO banner.  Made of shark teeth and streamers.

I looked every single place in this town for gummy sharks.  There were none to be had. I didn't let that spoil our SHARKNADO fun.  I made some out of swedish fish and jolly rancher soft chews.

Cupcakes are always the best part of any party.

This one has an arm in its mouth.

Shark fin cupcakes, more on how to make them later.

Dude jumping into a pool of chips with a shark fin.  Watch OUT!

Here is an arial shot of a couple in a hot tub full of the gummy sharks.

This is a shark fin hair clip.  tutorial in a later post
