Bunny Cake

I've been seeing the cutest bunny cakes on Pinterest.  They are all so cute.   Then today I saw the cutest one in the world.  I love this cake.  For fun I clicked over to see how difficult it was.  There is not enough time for me to ever, EVER, make this cake.  A girl can dream.

Swap With Debby

I was just in another Easter swap with Debby.  From looking over her blog I would say she is a swap master--so many swaps so many sweet things.   Now I'm just gonna start with the main event here, the spoolie.  Such a cutie.  It has a hand made stuffed bunny on it.  Adorable.  Can you see those tiny thread whiskers?  they are my favorite.

Debby also sent me a cute tin bucket with a matching Notebook.  And some pinwheel cupcake toppers...I'm mad for anything cupcake related.

And just look at all these supplies! Cute stickers, chenille stems , and Spring ribbons.
There were also some delicious girl scout cookies but I can't imagine where they got off to.

Thank you so much Debby for being my swap partner,  I love everything you really spoiled me good!

He's Been Around Some

I bought the cutest vintage bunny from etsy a while ago and he got here today. After I ordered him from Oregon he was mistakenly shipped to Georgia., then finally to me in Texas..  He was worth waiting for. Vintage objects always make me wonder things like "who first bought him?"  "what store did he come from?" "was he a gift?"  "how many different people have had him?" on and on.

Anyway, he's mine for now and I think he is adorable.  Wonder where he'll go next?

Easter Swap With Jill

I was recently in a fun swap for Easter. My partner was Jill.  She collects vintage pyrex and children's books.  Skip on over to her blog to check out her collections.

Everything was wrapped up cute but I couldn't wait to take a picture, I dug right in.  The first picture shows stickers, cupcake wrappers, a decopaged egg, an egg magnet, and washi tape.  I've been wanting to try washi tape for a while now, can't wait.

This picture shows a vintage children's book, a vintage postcard and a sweet egg shaped trinket box.  I have some nice vintage earrings that will go inside perfectly.

Jill even included a vintage hankie from her mother's personal collection of 500.  Wow, collecting must run in the family!  I'm so touched she shared one with me.

Here we have the edible portion of the swap.  That is real maple syrup--(Jill is from Canada)--I think we are having waffles tomorrow for sure ;)

And finally the main event.  A gorgeous egg covered with shades of yellow and white vintage buttons.  And check out the little bunny on top.  Cuteness. All sitting on a tinsel wrapped spool.   This is so adorable, I couldn't capture how pretty it is with my phone camera.  I hope she has a picture on her blog.

This was such a fun swap.  Thank you Jill for being such a great partner, I love everything!

So I Bought These Baskets

I bought these vintage style favor baskets and I love them.  AND so far I've only decorated one.  These baskets may be the new tags.
