Didn't Like It, Used It Anyway
I love vintage junk. I recently ordered this hat. When it got here it was ugly. So ugly.
So I tore the flowers off and altered a bottle. now I love it. Plus there are enough flowers for a few more projects

Cute Dessert Plates
It all started back in 2008. I joined my first ever online swap. My partner was Jamie and these are the dessert plates (along with a ton of other cute stuff) she sent me. To start with they came in a decorated hat box.
They are a set of four plates with bugs on them. LOVE
They are just perfect for any dessert you can possibly think of. And they are plain so they don't over power what they are holding. I still love and use them 5 years later.

Cupcake Baskets
I have a bunch of these cute vintage party favor baskets. I've put little chicks in them and decorated them all up for Easter. But I've always wanted to use them as a party favor. The trouble was they are shallow and only hold a small amount of small candy. Then I had the idea to put mini cupcakes in them. You can still put in small candy, then put the cupcake on top secured with a tooth pick. Oh and don't forget to fancy them up with ribbon or flowers.
