City Wide Garage Sale

This weekend we went to a city wide garage sale.  We have absolutely nothing vintage in my town so we went to a town an hour away.  It was a fun way to spend a Saturday and it ended up costing around the same as seeing a movie.
These are all vintage jewelry I picked up.  None of them were a real bargain but none were a rip off either.  So it's all good.
The next group consists of little doodads,  And the last photo shows a pretty vintage Bride doll- it was a good price.

Spring Tinsel the Cheap Way

I picked up some decorations at the dollar store the other day.  Even though they are kind of cute, I wanted them for their tinsel.  I just unwrapped the tinsel from the plastic frame and then rolled it into a ball.  It yielded about three yards.  Can be used on banners, trim for Easter projects or to tie Easter treat bags closed.  You get a lot for just a buck.  Did you just call me cheap? ;)

It's Mallo-licious, Baby!

I was in Walmart yesterday just looking around at all of their Easter merchandise when I came upon these babies.  Adorable marshmallows in ice cream, strawberry and cupcake shapes.  Each bag only a dollar.  That dollar price tag gets me every time.
I also found these Wilton baking cups.  More than a dollar but what are ya gonna do?  You have to have a cute container for those cute mallos.  Am I right?
I ended up liking the ice cream ones the best so I put them in a baking cup, added a pretty umbrella and there you have the perfect little mallow decoration and treat. mmmmm

I think it would also look cute at a baby shower.  Shower- umbrella.  see what I did there.
I'm thinking about adding the lace umbrella to my shop, what do you think?

Swap Goodies from Cami

The last bunch of ornaments are from Cami.  A cupid's arrow is covered with silver glitter and real feathers.  Who wouldn't want to be shot with this baby?
A crackled heart has beeswax wings and a tiny love sign.

This gorgeous heart was made from lace and adorned with a vintage key.

The Valentine swaps were a blast.  Thanks to all you talented girls.  You all are the best.

This lovely is a quilted piece with adorable hand stitching.

Two glittery hearts embellished with sweet paper roses.
A gorgeous globe of fluffy crepe paper and assorted ribbons and lace.
